Simple Purification Method
Materials Needed: Gangajal or clean water, unboiled milk, sandalwood paste, incense, white flowers, and sugar or honey.
Step-by-Step Process:
Choose Monday or Sawan Month Select an auspicious day, preferably Monday or any day during Shravan month
Physical Cleansing Wash the Rudraksha with Gangajal or clean water, then with milk mixed with a pinch of sugar or honey
Energization Apply sandalwood paste, offer flowers and incense, then chant “Om Namah Shivaya” 108 times
Final Blessing Touch the Rudraksha to a Shivling or Lord Shiva’s photo while chanting the mantra
